Officine Mordacci provides its clientele with expertise in the field of precision engineering,, deriving from years of experience gained through its activity in the defense sector as well as energy production, with high quality and highly complex works.
The Company has been fine-tuning its expertise in the production of BIMETALLIC BEARINGS for many years now, offering high-quality and project-tailored products.
Our production, made up of single items as well as small and medium size lots, includes both the construction of new products and the recovery of used bearings, such as:
- Radial bearings (with cylindrical, elliptical and beam profiles)
- Self-aligning radial bearings
- Radial/thrust combined bearings (fixed and with sliding blocks)
- Thrust bearings (thrust and with sliding blocks)
We are able to manufacture products with a maximum size of 800 millimetres in diameter.
We pay the closest attention possible during the white metal centrifugal casting (for which we use virgin ingots only) as well as during the subsequent phases of the production cycle where particular importance is ascribed to the controls of surface adhesion and intactness of the white metal; these checks are carried out through cultrasound controls and penetrants; the dimensional and geometrical compliance with manufacturing plans and designs is certified by strict quality controls.
